Participation Statement on events organized by Event 66

This Participation Statement is applicable on all events organized by Event 66.

By accepting this participation statement, I confirm:

1. that I am 18 years or older, or that I am the legal guardian of the minor that wishes to participate, in which case all statements are made on behalf of the relevant minor;
   
   
2. that I do not have a physical or mental predisposition that could endanger myself or others when participating;
   
   
3. that I am aware that participating in the event carries significant risks of (serious) property damage, personal injury or even death due to the exposure to many environmental conditions and risks which independently or in any combination with my activities or those of others may cause (serious) property damage, personal injury or even death;
   
   
4. that I will take personal responsibility to ensure personal safety and the safety of others by taking precautionary measures including, but not limited to, following the tips provided during the safety briefing and ensuring proper maintenance of the required equipment to participate in the event;
   
   
5. that all persons involved in the preparation and execution of the event in the broadest sense are not in any way responsible for my safety or the safety of others while participating in the event, whereby I agree to waive any and all claims for damages in the broadest sense which I may have due to an incident during the event or after due to my participation in the event  and that I will furthermore hold harmless and indemnify Event 66 and all persons involved in the preparation and execution of the event in the broadest sense for all incidents that occur due to my participation in the event;
   
   
6. that I acknowledge and agree to allow my photograph, likeness and/or voice to appear in any documentary, promotional (including advertisements), television, radio or film coverage of the Event without compensation or further notice, and I agree to assign all copyright or other interests to the event;
   
   
7. and that I have read and that I also understand the consequences of agreeing with this participation statement.
