This statement explains what information Event 66 collects when you use this website, what we do with it, and what rights you have. Event 66 is based at The Level, Saba, Caribbean Netherlands.
When you sign up for an event, ask to hear about future ones, or get in touch, we ask you for information you give us knowingly. Depending on the form, that can include:
The website also records ordinary usage information automatically: your IP address, your browser and its version, which pages you visited, when, and how long you stayed. If you visit on a phone, that may include the device type and operating system. This is standard diagnostic data and is not used to identify you personally.
Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. This site uses them to keep it working and to remember choices you make, such as a preference you have already set. Some are session cookies, deleted the moment you close your browser; others stay until they expire.
Parts of this site are provided by other companies: the registration forms come from Webscorer, the contact and interest forms from Freshworks, and the route maps from OpenStreetMap and Esri. Those services may set their own cookies when you use them, under their own privacy policies.
You can set your browser to refuse cookies or to warn you when one is being sent. Some parts of the site may not work properly if you do.
We do not sell your information.
We share personal information only where it is needed to run the service: with the providers who operate our registration, timing, email and form systems on our behalf, and with anyone you have given us permission to share it with. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect the safety of participants or the public.
Some of these providers operate outside the Caribbean Netherlands, which means your information may be processed in a country whose data protection rules differ from your own. We take reasonable steps to make sure it is handled securely wherever it goes.
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described here, or as long as the law requires. Usage data is generally kept for a shorter period, unless it is needed for security or to improve how the site works.
You can ask us at any time to show you what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Just email us and we will sort it out. We may need to keep certain records where the law obliges us to.
Our events welcome children, and parents or guardians register them. This website is not intended for children to use on their own, and we do not knowingly collect information directly from a child. If you believe your child has given us information without your knowledge, contact us and we will remove it.
We take care with your information, but no method of sending data over the internet or storing it electronically is completely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security.
This site links to websites we do not run, including our registration and form providers. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices, and we would encourage you to read their policies.
If we change this statement we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. Changes take effect once they are posted.
